1983 Ford Fiesta Mark I XR2 – ELJ 320Y
This Fiesta Mark I was in gorgeous condition when it was spotted as an exhibit at the 2013 Classic Ford Show, which was held at Crich Tramway Village, on the 9th of September 2013. This particular XR2 was made back in 1983 and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 29th of June 1983, so presumably has lived in the UK all its life. This one does have its original engine according to the DVLA, a 1.6 Litre (1598cc) Straight-Four Ford Kent engine which runs on petrol. This particular car when seen wore the rounded headlamps instead of the square ones usually seen on Mark I Fiesta’s which made it nicely different.
