1961 Ford Consul Classic 315 – KHF 212

This Consul Classic 315 was in gorgeous condition when it was spotted as an exhibit at the 2013 Classic Ford Show, which was held at Crich Tramway Village, on the 9th of September 2013. This particular Ford was made back in 1961, and it was first registered in the UK, in the same year, on the 21st of July 1961, so presumably has lived in the UK all its life. This one doesn’t have its original engine, instead it has a 1.6 Litre (1598cc) Straight-Four Ford engine which runs on petrol and came out of a 1600GT. This particular car was the 14th Classic off the production line and has been kept in South Yorkshire through its eight owners, with its most recent having its since 2007. In 2007 it was dragged out of a garden and has since gone through a rebuild with some modifications.
