Sleepless

People are still talking about the spectacular aurora we had visible here a couple of nights ago and it made me think back to the last time we were able to see one. Looking back to that night on May of 2017, it was was the first time we had ever seen it. That one (pictured here and previously unpublished) had a lot more reddish pillars moving across the sky - there are a few other views posted further back in my photo stream. I remember being pretty exited at the time and having a sleepless night.

I'm told we're coming out of an 11 year cycle, when the lights will be more active. Hopefully, that pans out and we'll be able to see more of them.
