Freebie
Several years ago I was a big fan of NIK's Silver Effect PRO for B&W conversion but got away from it when I bought my first copy of Lightroom. Now that Google has made a recent decision to provide the entire NIK photo editing collection available as a freebie for downloading, I thought I'd give it another try. This is my first attempt and I simply used one of the presets. What I didn't expect was that it made the waterfall more translucent and brought out a bit of detail in the rock wall behind the water.
As an aside, it's supposed to be Spring here but you'd never know it with all the ice in this image.
