It Had To Be Now
I wanted to get out on the ice one last time this winter and perhaps catch a bit of sunset color. A weather forecast for the coming week promised rain and a big thaw - it had to be now.
As we left home the sky was clouding over and it started to snow. However, if there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's not to give up too soon. We persisted and were rewarded with a few minutes of warm light and color to produce this scene. I really liked how it brought out the green in the water.
