Bonus Or Curse
My day job often involves working with terminally ill people, who struggle through their remaining days. Every new sunrise can be a bonus or curse. It's definitely a plus for me when I can stand at the water's edge with gentle waves, a soft breeze, and the light of dawn on the horizon. I'll miss it when my turn comes, as it eventually will for all of us, but in the mean time, I'll continue to cherish moments like this with my better half.
