Bridgepixing in Pittsburgh at the historic Smithfield Street Bridge spanning the Monongahela River. This buttercup colored bridge was built in 1883. This unusual design by Gustav Lindenthal is called "lentincular truss"- notice the old-fashioned eye-glass shape on the left side of the bridge. This bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
