Hoh Rainforest

Since I'm so excited about an upcoming backpacking trip on the Olympic Peninsula, I wanted to post an old image from my first time visiting. This is from the incredible Hoh Rainforest.

 

While hiking through I spotted this little cascade so I navigated up this steep incline and tried to find a composition. This was a tricky one since trying to crouch on a steep incline with barely any working room is difficult at the best of time, especially for the old knees haha. But the challenge is one of my favorite parts about this kind of photography.
