Cannock Road, Wolverhampton, 2018
An irritant to National Express West Midlands operations in Wolverhampton is a small independent bus company, Travel Express that trades as Let's Go.
Travel Express operate buses on a few select routes in the town, the best known to me being the number 11 to Underhill.
The Travel Express fleet is made up of small single deck vehicles, all having been purchased secondhand. Y252FJN, an Alexander bodied Dennis 'Dart' was one such bus, and is pictured on the A460 Cannock Road in Wolverhampton a couple of days before Christmas in 2018.
Y252FJN had been new to Selkent as their SLD252 in July 2001. It later saw service with Stagecoach London as their 34252 on the takeover of the Selkent operations.
Acquired by Travel Express in c2013, I can't imagine that the bus remains in traffic with the company in 2023.
