The South Shields version of the Busways livery
Wearing South Shields Busways livery, Alexander bodied Atlantean 243 was another ex TWPTE bus caught on film during my visit to the North East in 1991. This bus has a more conventional internal layout, with the stairs built into the offside of the bus behind the driver's cab, unlike Fleetlines 814 and 835, posted earlier.
The location is Fowler Street, South Shields, 23rd August 1991.
