Slow demise for ex Wolverhampton, AEC Swift

Former Wolverhampton Corporation Transport 709/WMPTE709N/Stevenson's (NJW709E), a Strachan bodied AEC Swift, in the throes of being broken up for scrap metal at a scrapyard in Castle Cary, Somerset on a cold and wet 31st January 1983. Just prior to its demise, the bus had worked for Brutonian Coaches of Bruton, Somerset.
