East Yorkshire Motor Services 900, Goole, Circa 1973-4
East Yorkshire 900 (AFT783C) in Goole, Humberside. The bus was an Alexander bodied Daimler Fleetline that had originally been new to Tynemouth & District (283) in 1965. The image comes from the collection of original colour slides that I acquired a few years ago.
It doesn't state on the slide, but I'm assuming the picture was taken in Boothferry Road, Goole, Circa 1973-4 (please let me know if this is incorrect). Behind the bus is a very new looking Hillman Imp carrying an 'L' 1972-3 registration suffix. The old Woolworth store that these vehicles have just past, appears to be pretty well unchanged from the 1950s.
