The Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Deaths
Yesterday, we went to see this exhibit at the Renwick Museum. They are miniature scenes created by Frances Glessner Lee. She created crime scenes in miniature to instruct police on crime investigation. They are still used and housed in Baltimore but the Renwick has them on display. Ms. Lee took a great deal of care to be accurate. They were based on real crimes that took place in the 1940's. This is a room in a rooming house. This unfortunate woman was a guest of the roomer and now she is dead.
