Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah

This was another spot I wanted to see. The Salt Lake of Utah is incredible. That water in the background is shallow and sitting on top of the salty sandy muck. I can't imagine how the covered wagons rode over it. It's like silver quicksand. You can imagine someone having a mirage walking across it.
