Graceful Art Nouveau Table Leg En Pointe [] []

An unposed art nouveau portrait of legs at morning coffee... I added a note on the photo to indicate where the table leg is...;))

 

Ballerina's have lovely legs... So do some tables... Before today, I never associated the two in my mind... The dancers foot is flexed, and is not en pointe. It is the table leg that is en pointe...;))

 

Actually, I was attempting to photograph my breakfast while sitting in the den. This background image is the only thing I liked in the whole batch of photos... It just popped out at me and was a total surprise... I had to crop like mad, so my breakfast is gone. The light from the window behind was dim inside the room, so the color noise was fierce. I resist using flash because it changes the mood too much...

 

Post-processing the noise, and vignetting the result in iPhoto led to an even more defocused image that I find surreal... dreamlike.... and aesthetically pleasing...
