First White Japanese Iris in Tucson
First White Iris in Tucson's Alhambra Gardens, Spring 2013
This was created in an iPhone App called MarbleCam that is available in iTunes.
itunes.apple.com/ca/app/marblecam/id524289568
It uses a simulated Soratama lens.
"Sora" means aerial.
"tama" means ball.
The real lens allows you to take pictures through a transparent ball.
Here is a real Soratama lens for sale:
The following page shows you what a real Soratama lens is, and how to make one. It's in Japanese, with lots of clear photos and a video.
www.soratama.org/howto/pg118.html
Here's the YouTube video showing the process of making a Soratama lens adapter.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=iH6KFNDiVP8&feature=player_em...
That would be fun... Of course, it's much easier to use the app as I did...;))
Wait a minute.. Here it is in English right here in Flickr!!!

Here is a great page showing where to buy the lens and all the assembly stuff...
