Personal Fitness Trainer and Trail Guide - Keep Your Eyes On The Prize
My guide and companion, Miss Cecily, had stopped to read the trail marker and picked a trail.
This was an impromptu hike, at the end of a car ride to run errands and to get me out of the house. We were just starting along a trail. She is carrying an iced tea container from her lunch. We were really not prepared for the hike, short as it was. Fortunately the weather was only in the low eighties.
We had to stop and go back after 0.4 miles because Miss Cecily had a ballet class to teach shortly after we returned. She did not want to be late.
I was a bit nervous. It was exhilarating and such a relief to be doing real aerobic exercise again. I love Sabino Canyon. I would like to go every day. I guess every other day is more realistic…;))
My knees were fine after 0.88 miles. That's a good thing! My knees had only slight twinges, and that made me very happy. I find gardening to be much harder on my knees than walking.
I found this view in Sabino Canyon to be quite motivating! I would go every day…;))
