Southwestern Autumn Color Against Clouds and Sky :: Explored

A little bit of autumn color in Tucson Arizona, This Japanese Plum is not a native tree. It is my attempt to create a tiny bit of a deciduous oasis in this harsh dry desert environment... We have had a warm autumn. Most of the leaves have already fallen with minimal color display this year...

Autumn colors are very rare in the southwestern Sonoran Desert of south central Arizona.

I love autumn colors, and I really miss the fall display in New England... I lived in many towns in and around Boston and the North Shore. I miss the ocean too...;))
