I haven't been back to the Reid Park Rose Garden since their severe February pruning of all the rosebushes. This dramatic rosebush flanks the doorway to my house.
I, with a caregiver, took a course in pruning roses at Tucson's Harlow Garden Nursery in Tucson in February. I didn't have the courage to do such a severe pruning of my rose bushes, but I did prune much more than I usually do, following the instructions... The results are quite pleasing...
