~~ Tucson Torrent ~~ It's Raining, It's Pouring...
The weather forecasts are usually quite good in Tucson, Arizona. Not today. They predicted it would NOT rain in Tucson today!!!
The forecast is that the 2011 Summer Monsoon will at least take a vacation for the next four days including today, and that the monsoon season may be over. It has rained every day for more than a week. Lots of rain. The total rainfall for this year is still below the average, and the drought continues. Let's hope and pray it keeps on raining.
Fortunately, TG, it is raining indeed! The rain is pouring off the roof, just beyond the porch, or as we say in the Southwest - ramada, lights. I'm sorry that I didn't think of turning the lights on!!!
