Agave Century Plant's Very Tall Flower Stalk <<>> IMG_0252 - Version 2

This Agave plant is normally about a meter tall and a meter wide. After a few years, it sends up a tall flower stalk. The stalk produces flowers and seeds, and then dies. This stalk is very tall. It could be ten meters in height. I had no convenient way of measuring it.
