You may remember Spock in Star Trek making this sign with his two hands as a Vulcan greeting. The actor Leonard Nimoy introduced this sign, which he knew as a practicing Jew is the benediction over the congregation by theTemple Priests. They are The Kohanim or Cohanim in Hebrew.

We went to see the fabulous exhibit of Jewish Wedding Gowns, ceremonial marriage contracts and memorabilia memorabilia. Much of it predates the establishment of Arizona as a state.
