Wet Igneous Stone

I try to pick up interesting stones when possible. Tucson sits in the crater of a huge volcano whose towering walls have eroded over time into the crater.

 

This is the top two inches of a five inch stone that I keep as an interesting accent in a flowerpot in my kitchen.
