First Pound Lost
I am using the Lose It! App on the Apple store. I find it very helpful in planning meals. That includes creating and entering my own recipes.
Lose It! is also helpful in tracking my actual food and beverage consumption throughout the day.
In addition, it helps me plan and track my exercise and physical activity program.
The goal section is excellent. I find it quite motivating.
Actually, I restarted the goal section, so it ignored the previous nine pounds I recently lost using the Lose It! app.
Two weeks ago, I started at 206 pounds, about 103 kilos, and today I am at 196 pounds, about 98 kilos. Not bad. I am satisfied with my progress.

As a physicist, it offends me to keep using the English measurement system instead of the much more rational metric system. However, changing would mean buying a new scale. Mine is very old. It needs no batteries and has never needed any adjustments. I calibrate it by comparing its measurements to the more accurate scales in my medical doctors' offices.
