Taking liberties with the story... Here's what I see in the images...
This side seems to show the Ascent of Angels and humans..So, is it Ascent or Descent of Man? Who Knows? Only The Creator Knows for Sure, Plus Darwin knows... Or, maybe The Shadow Knows.
By the way, the biblical account is quite in agreement with modern cosmology, provided you take into account the time dilation due to the expansion of the universe after the big bang. Six days becomes something like 15 billion years... That, of course, is the age of the planet earth. It's quite amazing...
