African blue Basil makes flowers but the seeds are infertileIt must be propagated be rooting cuttings. I have been successful rooting the cuttings in water and transplanting to flowerpots. The leaves and flowers are very delicious on salads and in many dishes.

This plant is a four foot, 1.3 meters, bush in height and across. It is about 8 years old.
