Gladiolus In Winter?

Here’s a new gladiolus flowerbed opening up. This lovely gladiolus plant has sent up a flower stalk in early December in Tucson, Arizona. The weather has been record setting warm this autumn. It must think it’s springtime.

I assume it won’t flower next April or May, in 2021.
