The Last Ray Of Sunshine

Late afternoon in my late autumn Tucson garden. This nasturtium seedling's leaf was spotlighted by a ray of sunshine through the veranda's trellis.

 

Now that it is cooler, it's safe to plant nasturtium seeds for the beauty of the flowers and the delicious flavor of the leaves and flower petals in salads.
