Ripe Pomegranate's Great and Small
A ripe pomegranate for Rosh HaShannah. Legend has it that there are 613 seeds within symbolizing the 613 commandments in the Torah.
The fact that the number of seeds varies with water and fertilizer conditions is irrelevant...;-) The beautiful symbol is what matters.
