Morning Brings Pastel Shades and Hues and Lots of Tiny Visitors To My Desert Garden

I suggest viewing this large because the pollen dust is brightly catching the sunlight...

A sunny morning brings patterns, textures, colorful shades and hues, and lots of tiny visitors to my desert garden. The pollen grains have been scattered everywhere. We just need to deposit a single grain of pollen from a stamen into a pistole for the journey to the ovary to begin. Then this flower can grow a new cactus fruit.

I love the colors, colours, colores, couleurs, and tzevaot.

Here is my favorite photo that I took of a sensational one-day blooming cactus flower in my garden. I don't recall the variety. I bought the plant at Civano plant nursery on Tucson's southeast side. Civano has lots of gorgeous plants of all kinds. They always have wonderful flowering cactii. I don't remember the name of this cactus.
