Syrian Oregano in Tucson

I love cooking with oregano. I have a few different varieties in my garden. Oregano is a very strong grower with strongly spreading roots. I find it is best to plant only oregano in its own flowerpot.

In a large pot I have for only Mediterranean herbs, I sank a smaller pot with a single oregano plant so its roots cannot spread.
