Here is the World Premiere of my friend Aaron Alter's "Lo Lanu Ha-Shem" (a setting of Psalm 115) for Women's Chorus, Flute, Two Horns, Harp, Double-Bass and Tambourine, which took place on January 6, 2019 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico by The New Mexico Bach Society Chorale and Players, and the Santa Fe Women's Ensemble. The program included the performance of Brahms' Four Songs for Women's Chorus, Two Horns and Harp, Op.17, which has a similar instrumentation to "Lo Lanu Ha-Shem."
"Lo Lanu Ha-Shem" was awarded a Silver Medal (Outstanding Achievement) at the March 2019 Global Music Awards and is currently a Finalist in the 2019-2020 American Prize Competition.
