Bold Marigold Against Dark Background

This is a test run of my old Canon EOS M Camera with a Canon 18-28 mm Lens.

Results: there are two positives and two negatives.

First the positives:

* I really like the bokeh, DoF effect, and color vibrancy!

* I also love the light and shadow contrast between the subject and the background. I don't recall seeing it to this degree with any other lens and camera combination.

Now the negatives:

* Autofocusing is slow and tricky. This is a well-known issue of Canon's first mirrorless camera. I understand this was fixed in later versions of Canon's mirrorless camera series.

* There is no provision for adding an electronic viewfinder. I find this camera difficult to use in bright sunshine. Next, I will have to try manual focusing.

I wonder if anyone makes a sunshade for the viewing panel.
