Dust Dust Dusty Sky before cleaning with a Canon 30D

Blowing the sensor with a bulb type air blower was not sufficient to eliminate dust. Blowing dust around inside the camera actually made the problem worse. The cleaning method that worked best for me is described in detail in "The Pixel Sweeper"

I recommend clicking on the PDF file button at the top right. It's easier to read.

An image of the sky before cleaning the Canon 30D DSLR Sensor. When viewed large, the dust particles appear black against the sky and clouds. Image processing has emphasized the dust particles sitting on the glass plate sealing the sensor chip underneath against dust and moisture.
