This unusual multicolored iris reminded me of Arco Iris Sandoval, a fabuous professional pianist in Tucson. Her name is "Rainbow" en Español. What a happy, felicitous name! She is a beautiful Adult Ballet Dancer at Arizona Ballet Theatre

I am guessing this is an Iris, because it looks like one, and has leaves like irises.

Yes, it's an African Iris called Dietes:

Fortnight Lily, African Iris

Scientific Name: Dietes vegeta (L.) N.E. Br.

Synonym: Moraea vegeta, Dietes iridioides, Moraea iridioides

Family: Iridaceae
