Margherita's World
I enjoy all the color and geometry in Margherita's World. And also her seascapes and harborscapes. You all know how much I miss the Ocean!!!
Sometimes it helps me to visualize the world of the people whose images I love.
I definitely relate to maps. A good map centers me. It seems to put me in the place. Thanks to Ryan for giving me the idea of locating my latest images using maps directly on the Flickr page.
Of course I really don't know, where Meghi's last few photos were shot, but i am guessing from her tags. The next step will be to zoom in on Santa Margherita and Chiavari separately. I want to know where the sunshade is in her last ristaurante ;)
I was thinking about doing this with my wonderful Flickr Friends most stunning photos... It is so time consuming, and I don't have too much lately. We will see...
I must add, a number of you wonderful talented people do fabulous Ocean and Sea photography that I rely on for my Ocean Fix! I made a first cut list and pasted it here, but it disappeared. I hope to do it again, possibly with maps, soon.
Just to recapture a few names, that were on the list...
Ryan of Boston's North Shore Ocean and Harbor shots!!!;
Diana of Connecticut, Long Island Sound, and The Jersey Shore;
Coney Island Girl of the Boardwalk and the Pier;
KoolPix of Jones Beach, Queens, NY
Eva of Haifa, Israel;
Tal(sp) who hang glides off the ocean cliffs in Israel
Fikri Bakri of istanbul, Turkey;
San Diego Guy,
Charna paints the Canadian Pacific Coast;
Folks at Kwajalein;
Some fabulous Ocean Photographers in Canada, South and Central America, Australia, the Philippines, and Malaysia, and The British Isles.
I know there are more of you! Please forgive me that my m memory is no longer reliable ... So Please Please just clue me when you get a chance. Thanks! I think it will be a fun and exciting project.
