Desert Willow Magenta, Pink, & White Flowers

This is a very pleasing desert tree that grows in Tucson parks. I planted it on the west side of the house to shade the west wall. However, my plant remains a shrub, about 5 feet (1.6 meters) in height. It flowers in the spring with some flowerrs during the summer if it receives water.

I would love to transplant it and put in a taller growing tree, like a mesquite, or an acacia for shade. Acacia trees also have beautiful flowers.
