Aphids Feasting On A Milkweed Plant
I like to watch the aphids. I haven't seen any ants recently, so I wonder how they got up near the tops of this milkweed plant. They seem quite mobile, so I guess that answers the question.
These plants have finished flowering for the winter, so they are not a pest right now.

It reached 63F here today (January 17th.) I went out to tie up some tomato and chili pepper plants, and to just enjoy the warmth of the sunshine in the backyard.
