I'm just beginning to surface from my deep immersion in Joy and Intensity that was Arizona Ballet Theatre’s Dress Rehearsal of "Arizona Ballet Theatre Celebrates Women - 2016." It was fabulous, even overwhelming. If you love women and are happy to promote women's causes, this is a new high!
I see the best of the best from all major dance companies worldwide. This program is second to none! I am truly amazed, astounded, and thrilled at what I saw. Arizona Ballet Theatre is a gem. The choreography and staging of each piece was incredible. and the artistry and technical skills of the main dancers are fabulous. If you love and thrill to dance, this is for you!
Oh, I should add, the students in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap were delightful. Since I can track each young dancer's progress, I really loved seeing their wonderful progress in artistry and technique.
Please note, the Performances are Saturday Evening at 6 pm and Sunday Matinee at 2:30 pm. at The Stevie Eller Dance Theatre, on the campus of The University of Arizona in Tucson. If you are in the Tucson metropolitan area and Phoenix, this is for you!!
