Surreal Fantasy Mural Panorama <<>> Tucson's Warehouse Arts District
I shot this crazy, fantastic mural looking into the afternoon sun. It's at 7th Avenue and 7th Street in Tucson, Arizona. I should go back and shoot it with a good camera from different distances to see what works best and to avoid the sun's glare. I won't, of course.
I did go back. Results are in my current photo stream in January 2016
I went there to see this because a Flickr friend, Guy Shovlin, suggested it and I planned on being nearby. Guy takes really great shots of murals all over Tucson!!! Let's see if I can find this one...;))
I became interested in these murals as i saw a number of them at random, while traveling around Tucson. I recently discovered that my Flickr friend, David Aber, has an extensive collection of his excellent photos of murals taken all over Tucson and South Tucson. They are in his photostream and in his albums. In fact, about a month ago, I compiled a list of 36 of David's photos that includes their addresses so I can go look at them. He has many more, but that looked like a good start, and I ran out of steam.
Thanks also to Lynn Jacobs.
