This old flowerpot was in the shade, under a Texas Ranger bush in my front yard. I was cleaning and sprucing things up this morning. As I took it out to discard it, I noticed the snail and put it on my old tan Toyota Corolla's trunk to photograph.
The sudden exposure to the added light must have been terribly upsetting for this poor snail. It was a very overcast day this morning, but still, it would have been a shock!
After I shot this series, I put the pot back where it had been.
The photos in this set are straight out of the camera (SOOC.) I have not processed these photos in any way at all.
