Majestic Dramatic Overwhelming Beauty
Later in the walk: Storm clouds still blanketed the Catalinas.
While the skies to the southwest were now clear blue, the storm's dark and light clouds were still blanketing the dark Catalina Mountains to the north... The clouds were visibly moving from the west to the left, to the east...
It all gave me an overwhelming dramatic feeling... It's hard to think in the presence of such beauty...
The pole says "Stay grounded"!!
I'm in Tucson whose elevation above sea level is about 2500 feet, roughly 800 meters. Tucson is in a valley surrounded by mountain ranges. I am in a park that is at the very beginning of the foothills of the Catalina Mountains you see to the North. The highest point is Mount Lemmon (out of the field of view to the right) which gets up to an elevation of 9,157 feet, roughly 3000 meters.
