Tryptich - Homage To Balanchine
I shot this exciting moment during a dress rehearsal of Norman Walker's Ballet Homage To George Balanchine. It was part of "Arizona Ballet Theatre Salutes The Americas 2014."
Normally, I would use a dress rehearsal to get my camera settings right, but I am only permitted to shoot during the rehearsals. And, I had just bought the Canon 70D. It is so different from the Canon 30D. I'm still getting used to it...;) I would have been able to use 1/160th of a second which would have been much better, and even 1/200th of a second which would have been better still! Just wait till next year, as Dem Bums (Brooklyn Dodgers) used to say...
The performances were on May 31 and June 1, 2014 in The University Of Arizona's Stevie Eller Dance Theatre."
