I love cactus flowers. Spring in Tucson is glorious when these beauties are in bloom... This lovely cactus flower and bud were on a small cactus partially obscured by a perennial plant. This photo was taken on the way back to our starting point. The 75-300mm lens I used for bird shots is not very good for macros, but I was too tired to switch back to my 18-135mm lens...;)
