Boston Ballet Company's 50th Reunion >><< Congratulations,You Are All Incredibly Wonderful!!!
You are such an amazing group. You all, under the leadership and direction of E. Virginia Williams, created a world class ballet company in Bean Town, starting from scratch. Fortunately, Virginia realized right away that George Balanchine, who Lincoln Kirstein had brought to New York, had something grand to teach her. She studied his methods and his style. She took notes in his classes, and learned from a master. I feel indebted to her, and to all of you, for creating so much beauty and making it accessible and enjoyable for all who live and visit this beautiful city we all love.
it's quite a treat to be here to celebrate with you. You are all so gracious and friendly, and I really appreciate that!
