Distant Bird On Pole
Early into my seventh Sabino Canyon Nature Walk last Wednesday, we spotted this bird on a distant pole. I don't recall its identification...;)) Okay, It's a Harris's Hawk. That's not shown in "A Naturalist's Guide To Sabino Canyon" by Ned Harris, Anne Green, and Carol Tornow. The pocket sized guide is excellent but doesn't include all the varied flora and fauna present in Sabino Canyon.
