Arizona Barrel Cactus With Symmetric Thorns and Edible Yellow Fruit <<>> It's Also A Handy Compass...;))

Seen along Sabino Canyon's Esperero Trail.

 

I have an Arizona Barrel Cactus in my desert garden. It always has yellow fruit. The fruit is edible and is quite tasty.
