Dallas, “Tsk, tsk! Those wubbas certainly make a whole lotta noise when they are being bathed, what with that ‘bok, boking ‘all over the place!”
Ava, “Phew! Never mind that Dallas, this powder is heavy, gimme a hand please!”
Dallas, “Oh! Well, I think where you have it is just fine, yes just fine!”
Ava, “Okay. Well, the wubbas are all dry and cozy so I will leave you to powder ‘em up while I head to the kitchen to cook up some warm cocoa and put out some chocolate chip cookies for them.”
Dallas, “Oh, fiddle dee dee! You go ahead and powder them and I’ll take care of the next community service.”
Ava, “Oh NO you don’t Dallas! You stuck me with doing all the work bathing them!
Dallas, I couldn’t bathe them! I didn’t want to ruin my dress! It’s Robert Best!”
Ava, “Don’t wanna hear it! You’re gonna put that drink down and powder them up! And don’t forget to *gently* comb their combs and wattles, either! “
Dallas, “Say……WHAT?!?!?!?! How the heck do I “comb” a comb? That just doesn’t make any sense! And what the heck is a “wattle?”
*Chiken comb-the Mohawk type thingy on top of a chiken’s head
*Wattle-those fleshy things that hang under a chiken’s chin (well, if a chiken had a chin)
*Robert Best is designer for Mattel. He designs the clothing and dolls for the Silkstone line.
