David in Delaware Park

Buffalo, New York, has a bronze replica of Michelangelo's "David" located in Delaware Park. This replica was gifted to the city in 1903 by Buffalo businessman and scholar Andrew Langdon and is one of only three bronze copies made directly from the original. The statue is 18 feet tall and weighs approximately 3,000 pounds. It stands on a 9-foot granite pedestal.
