Warhammer 40K Space Wolves Harald Deathwolf Army
This was a mini project I had following the release of the new Space Wolves models and games-workshop paint range earlier this year.
The army consists of:
- Canis Wolfborn;
- Wolflord on Thunderwolf;
- Iron Priest on Thunderwolf with 3 Servitors and 2 Cyberwolves;
- 2 Lonewolves;
- 7 Grey Hunters with Wolfguard Leader;
- 15 Fenrisian Wolves (some used as meat shields for characters);
- 2 Thunderwolves (who act alone as seperate fast attack choices);
- Drop Pod;
- Deathstorm Drop Pod.
The army was intended to be a small detachment which lived off the land, relying on minimal mechanical support. The Iron Priest provides minimum maintenance required, while the drop pods represent where the group landed all those years ago.
This army setup seems to put alot of people into a state of panic. The best it has done so far is wiped out a Chaos Space Marine Army in only two turns, and lost less than 20% of the army in total points cost.
